Garbanzos. Now that’s a funny word, a.k.a. chick-peas. I love ’em! Gotta have ’em! They are always in my cubbord!
I’m a huge advocate of fitness! What’s most important, is that you have fun with it! A short in home workout is what works best for me. No gym memberships, wasted gas or time to get there & back. I’ve found the future for all to reach their fitness goals with the convenience of being in your own home.
I did pretty well…. I guess you could say, “I nailed it!”
So there is a nutrition guide that comes along with the workouts & it includes a few simple recipes which I have tried a few of but have put my own touches to them. The general rule here is to consume 1600 CLEAN calories a day. I feel I’ll do pretty well in this department.
This is a simple go to snack that I pretty much always have on hand. I add a special ingredient to it and turn it into a great dressing to go on any salad… but that’s in my next post! 🙂
Just add these few ingredients into your food processor & Boom! Easy low calorie & healthy snack!
- 1 can of garbanzo peas, (drained & rinsed to remove preservatives)
- 4 Tablespoons of Tahini (sesame seed paste)
- Juice from one lemon
- Large pinch of Sea Salt
- 2 Tablespoons of EVOO
- Add all ingredients to food processor and blend into desired consistency.
