A great combination of tropical fruit with the addition of unsweetened coconut/almond milk, greek vanilla yogurt & plain whey protein powder.
I’ve been making it a habit to post a smoothie every Sunday as the warmer months approach us & they are perfect to have any time of our day of rest.
I absolutely love the blend of tropical fruit, I can just close my eyes & daydream about being on the beach. Ahh yes, feel the breeze, listen to the waves crashing in & smell the salt filled air. Just a brief moment of paradise, hopefully we will be able to experience in real life soon.
Just a few simple ingredients go into this. I always have some sort of fruit in the freezer, its great to snack on as well as add to any smoothie to chill it without watering it down with ice. I even like to put bananas in my freezer just before they get too ripe so that I can make good use out of them. For this, I picked up a bag of frozen pineapple which was on sale. Ever notice the price of frozen fruit? Geez…
I can always rely on my trusted Magic Bullet NutriBullet 12-Piece High-Speed Blender/Mixer System to blend my shakes, dressings, soups & smoothies. Whats the difference between a shake & a smoothie you wonder? Well, a milk shake is composed of ice cream & milk with other indulgent ingredients. As a smoothie is made up of fruit & yogurt along with liquid of choice. At least thats my differential report of the two.
So as you see, just a few ingredients make up this delightful Smoothie in Paradise and I hope you take the opportunity to try one on for yourself & please let me know what you think!
